April 8th:
We have been studying the kings of Israel and Judah this year. This Easter we celebrate the true King of kings. His name is Christ Jesus. He came from heaven to earth, lived a sinless life, was killed as a perfect sacrifice for our sin, and made a way for us to have a personal relationship with God. He did it all … for us … because He loves us.

Memory verses:
1st grade
- 1 Corinthians 15:3, "...Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures,…"
- 1 Corinthians 15:4, "…that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures,…"
- John 20:31, "But these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God..."

2nd/3rd grade
