What did we learn?

• Kindergarten-1st grade
• Bravery (We can be brave because God loves us!)
• Bible lesson:  Matthew 14:22-33 (Jesus walks on water)
• Point:  Jesus helps us be brave and choose to do what’s right even when we are scared
• 2nd grade - 5th grade
• God sent His Son
• Bible lesson:  John 3:1-17; Romans 5:8
• Point: God loves us so much that He sent His one and only Son to rescue us from our sin.  Not because we deserve rescuing, but because God loves us!

Next week (9/19/18):  

•  Kindergarten - 1st grade
• Jesus heals a cripple man (Acts 3:1-10)
• 2nd grade - 5th grade
• Loving God completely (Matthew 22:35-37; Mark 12:28-30)
